Joe had a successful career in NYC's garment industry, but his wife Elinor died
at
an early age, leaving him with three young children. He had moved to New Jersey
from Manhattan to enter the laundry business with his brother-in-law Dave
Forziati
(see Dave's page), and married Mary Teddeo. They had two children. When the
washing machine put an end to the laundry business, Joe began a third career, in
real estate. He worked at that until the very day he died. in 1984..

Joseph married Elinor Mingalone est 1912. Elinor died in 1925.
Joseph then married Mary Teddeo in 1926. (Mary Teddeo was born in 1894 and died in 1976.)
